In order to change your Registered Mobile Number in Indian Bank, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Approach home branch of Indian Bank where you maintain your account
Please visit the Indian Bank Home Branch along with necessary documents such as a copy of your Proof of Address like the latest Telephone Bill, Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.
Step 2: Obtain KYC Details Change form
Meet Relationship Manager or bank Executive and obtain KYC Details Change form for changing registered Mobile Number.
Step 3: Fill up KYC Details Change form
Fill up the KYC Details Change Form thoroughly. You need to mention the following details:
- Your bank details like account number, name of the account holder, type of account, etc.
- Tick or mention the details which you want to change like a change of registered mobile number in this case
- Write your new Mobile Number in the space provided for it
- Put your Signature wherever required
Step 4: Submit KYC Details Change form along with necessary documents
Submit the duly filled up KYC Details Change form with your Proof of Address (if asked for) to the Bank Executive.
Step 5: Take acknowledgment of your request
Bank Executive will verify your form, signature, and other details. If he finds the form complete in all respect, he will give you an acknowledgment of your request.
Step 6: Processing of your request of changing registered Mobile Number
After due validation, Indian Bank will change your registered Mobile Number in your account and in the bank records.
Step 7: Verify with the bank of the change in your registered Mobile Number
You will be sent a notification by Indian Bank either through SMS on your new mobile number or email about changing your registered Mobile Number in your account within a few hours. In case, you do not receive any intimation, you may contact your branch and confirm if the changes are processed.
