Skin care Tips

Almost everyone dreams of beautiful skin. We are ready to invest a huge amount of effort, time and money to realize this dream, visit cosmetologists and plastic surgeons, try various procedures, buy expensive creams – just to achieve the ideal. But sometimes it turns out that in order for our skin to look beautiful, it is enough to follow a few quite simple steps.

Stop cleaning the skin hard

We often go too far in the struggle for beautiful and clean skin. We use aggressive means for washing, after which, it seems to us, the skin becomes really clean, you can often hear the expression “already creaks”. What does this tell us? That the entire protective layer has been washed off the skin, that it is too dried and begins to produce fat more actively in order to recover. As a result, this leads to the early formation of wrinkles, acne and inflammation. A similar effect can be achieved with too active use of scrubs. If you have dry, sensitive or inflammation-prone skin, scrubs are not allowed at all.

Various mechanical cleaning devices act even more aggressively on the skin : abrasive sponges, skin brushes with which we ruthlessly rub our face.

All this leads to the formation of micro-damages of the surface layers of the skin, as a result, it becomes coarser and inflammatory elements appear on it.

What is the right way then ?

Acid cleansers work best to exfoliate dead skin cells, remove blackheads, and even out skin tone. Ask your beautician to find the best cleanser for your skin type.

Do not self-medicate for acne

No one is satisfied with pimples and black spots on the skin. Hands stretch to squeeze them, and advertising of many means promises that if you just buy this magic lotion / ointment / cream, everything will disappear in just 5 minutes. Unfortunately, if everything was this simple, there would be no people with skin problems at all – where would they come from if you could get rid of a pimple so easily and quickly ?

What is the right way then ?

Treatment of acne should be carried out by a dermatologist or cosmetologist. The approach to treatment is always complex, and first of all, the doctor will recommend taking a biochemical blood test, ultrasound of the abdominal cavity, offer to look for parasites, and possibly consult an immunologist, gastroenterologist, gynecologist or endocrinologist for consultation, if there are indications for this. And only after problems with the gastrointestinal tract, with the liver, with the genitourinary system and others have been excluded, treatment can be prescribed.

The approach to the treatment of acne differs depending on the severity of the disease, the prevalence of the process, the age and gender of the patient.

Since acne most often occurs due to hormonal dysfunction, they are usually treated with hormonal contraceptives (for girls only) and retinoids (for girls and men). All drugs are prescribed only after a thorough examination and under the constant supervision of a doctor. The selection of contraceptives is carried out jointly by a gynecologist and a dermatologist, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient’s body.

Retinoids are a synthetic analogue of vitamin A, specially developed specifically for the treatment of acne. Retinoids, in most cases, allow you to achieve a stable remission up to 5-6 years.

For all types of acne, local treatment is required. The drug is selected depending on the severity of the manifestations and the nature of the rash.

In addition to the specific treatment of acne, the doctor will strive to eliminate the root cause of the disease: this can be the appointment of drugs that normalize the function of the gastrointestinal tract, the treatment of parasitosis, the correct selection of cosmetics that do not have a comedogenic effect (does not clog pores), correction of the personal hygiene system.

Do not sunbathe

We have already touched on this topic more than once in the pages of our magazine. But it will never be superfluous to repeat it : the sun is one of the most formidable enemies of our skin ! Excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays leads to photoaging, hyperpigmentation, thinning and drying of the skin. The sad thing is that the damage accumulates little by little, and you can enjoy sunbathing long enough, before finding at a far from perfect moment that the quality of your skin has deteriorated sharply : many wrinkles have appeared, elasticity has lost, and ugly spots have appeared on it. Getting rid of the consequences of the abuse of the sun’s rays is very, very difficult.

What is the right way then ?

Protect your skin from the sun all year round ! In summer, in the south and in winter ski resorts, use a cream with a protective index (SPF) of at least 50-60, in the city – at least 20-30. And do not forget that UV protection is necessary both in winter and in cloudy weather.

Stop experimenting

Trying something new is always fun. But experiments, especially in the field of beauty and health, do not always give good results. The Internet and the pages of magazines are full of various tricks : smear your face with kefir, oatmeal, strawberries, make onion hair masks (yes, rub onions and smear your hair : the effect, and most importantly, the smell is amazing !), Crush aspirin tablets and lubricate with these heels, buy this “unique” cream with an incomprehensible composition on the Chinese site… We believe that you can not continue – everyone has come across these tips several times. And surely, every girl can tell a few funny or sad stories (depending on the consequences) about her cosmetic experiments.

At best, with such experiments, you will simply lose time and money ; at worst, it will take a long and difficult time to heal damaged skin.

What is the right way then ?

Nowadays, there are many proven, certified and reliable drugs and methods that will allow you to achieve the desired effect without risk to health. A cosmetologist will help you find an effective and safe remedy to solve almost any skin problem.

Follow hygiene

It is obvious to everyone that you need to regularly clean your skin. But about some other objects that are constantly in contact with our skin, we sometimes forget.

Phone screen

Regularly wipe the phone screen with special wipes. It has already been proven that there are more bacteria on the phone than on the toilet bezel ! And if you don’t want it all to be on your face – and is likely to cause skin irritation – make sure your phone stays clean.

Makeup brushes and sponges

All makeup products should be thoroughly cleaned regularly. Brushes and sponges are in constant contact with our skin, sebum, dust and makeup residues accumulate in them-all this is a fertile environment for microbes. Therefore, be sure to rinse all your brushes with detergent from time to time and dry them thoroughly. Sponges and sponges can be put in the microwave for a minute after washing for additional disinfection.

Cushion

Pillows constantly interact with our face, and we must not forget that suddenly, a lot of things accumulate on pillowcases : all the same sebum, dust, the remains of our face creams… Do not forget to regularly change pillowcases on pillows-at least once a week, if you have problem-free skin, and every three days-if there are inflammatory elements on the skin. It is better to choose pillowcases from natural fabrics: cotton, linen, silk.

Hat

In autumn and winter, you can often notice that irritations and inflammations appear on the forehead and cheeks. It can be combined with hats, scarves, hoods that protect us from the cold. Of course, we do not suggest going bare-headed in the cold, but be sure to monitor how often you wash your hats and scarves. Also pay attention to the material of the hat-some materials can irritate the skin.

We hope that our simple tips will help you take a step towards perfect skin !

Daily skin care should include the following simple steps :

Cleaning

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser morning and evening. This is an obligatory article-we live in a big city, dust, dirt, grease, sweat accumulate on the skin…

It is imperative to remove make-up from the face every evening, in no case should you go to bed with make-up-it is very harmful to the skin ! It is best to remove make-up with special products, micellar water or hydrophilic oil.
